Test Builder Pro is a MEAN Stack JavaScript test building and administering application that is actively being developed. This is Randy Ledbetter's Computer Science Senior Project. It is a rather large and complicated application and is still in its development stages. Enough features have been implemented, however, to demostrate its core capabilities.

Compiled Language Programming - C/C++ Programming Projects

The link below leads to a GitHub repository containing select programs written in C and C++ in the context of school projects at CSU Chico's Computer Science department. This repository only contains programs that various professors had no specific objection to making public. They are projects from Randy Ledbetter's Intermediate and Advanced C/C++ programming courses. Additional C/C++ programming examples stemming from Compilers, Parallel Programming, and Operating Systems coursework can be made available upon request. They are being kept private per the intructors' expressed preferences.


Android Mobile App Development - Java

While taking an Android application development course at CSU Chico, Randy Ledbetter came up with the idea to convert a popular 1980's book titled, "Maze: The World's Most Challenging Puzzle." by Christopher Manson into an interactive Android application. Randy Ledbetter was partnered with fellow students Jayd Saucedo and Taylor Carrington to form an Android development team. All three team members contributed equally to the project. Jayd Saucedo has written an article describing the application and its underlying code. The article, which contains screenshots of the application in action, can be read here:

Super Gauntlet - Node.js, Socket.io, Backbone.js, Underscore.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

In the context of a Software Engineering course at CSU Chico, Randy Ledbetter, along with five other team members began development of a real-time HTML5 online multi-player game.

Super Gauntlet is a Node.js / Socket.IO real-time multi-player game. Both server- and client-side code is written in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. The MVC framework being used is Backbone.js which has both jQuery and Underscore.js as dependencies. The server-related code is based on Node.js and Socket.io. A team-designed, informative website describing the project along with a video of the game in action is currently available for viewing. More information can be found here:


Artificial Intelligence - Node.js, Backbone.js, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5

Global Localization Calculator - Although this project was created for an Artificial Intelligence class, Randy Ledbetter opted to use the opportunity to turn what could have been just a standard C++ implementation and turn the project into a more interesting web application with fun, informative animations.

Expectation-Maximization for HMM and Vitirbi Algorithm - This project was written entirely in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Backbone.js was used to separate routes, data, and view rendering functionality in accordance with the MV* design pattern philosophy. Visual content is dynamically presented to the user via routing and templating mechanisms made available via Backbone.js. The templating engine used to render HTML5 partials is Underscore.js. Twitter Bootstrap, along with custom CSS and images were used in the design of the application.
